In June for my birthday my amazing best friend Scott took me to a ceramic painting place in Milton http://crockadoodle.com/milton/ to craft together for the day. I just picked up the pieces.
He painted for me this great mug, doesn’t look totally 80’s and I painted this pirate chest for small pieces of jewelry. I had so much fun hanging out with him for the day…..Thanks Scott.
Here is another item I painted this summer at Simply Creative http://www.simplycreativestudio.com/
I am going to give it to Kalinda to decorate her house.
Hope she likes it!!
Been a while since I posted anything but here are three new thingsI made.
During the summer I was doing ceramic painting at Simply Creative in Milton http://www.simplycreativestudio.com/ and made many things. While I was there I made the following Christmas cookie plate and cookie jar for my mom. That way when she makes cooked with her nieces and nephews this holiday season she has somewhere special to put them.
Here is a new mix media project I just make today with friends of mine using vinyl on the Silhouette Cameo. I am keeping this one so if you have any wine corks from all your celebrating this holiday season please save them give to me!!!!
Here is my Christmas wreath and it was so easy to make for under $15
• 12 small boxes from dollar store (2 for a $1) which I hot glued lids on.
• Put ribbing only on the top row
• Cut a wreath shape out of foam board and wrapped in ribbon
• Hot glued the boxes onto the wreath
Recently I took my friend Marlene’s daughter Alexis to a place in Milton called Simply Creative http://www.simplycreativestudio.com/ to paint ceramics.
She made a jewelry holder in the shape of a snake and I made a light switch cover for Scott the week before. We had so much fun we will be going back next week.
You should come check them out.
Last November, Scott my fabulous roommate, and my best friend asked what I wanted for Christmas……….of course I said I wanted something homemade and sent him in the direction of Milton to Simply Creative http://www.simplycreativestudio.com/ where he could choose from making me jewelry via glass fusing or paint a ceramic figure.
We needed a milk jug so I decided he would paint one for us. I went with him to the store, but we sat back to back as he painted his little heart out.
I love it …………..what do you think????????????????
