My Birthday Craft Day

In June for my birthday my amazing best friend Scott took me to a ceramic painting place in Milton to craft together for the day. I just picked up the pieces.

He painted for me this great mug, doesn’t look totally 80’s and I painted this pirate chest for small pieces of jewelry. I had so much fun hanging out with him for the day…..Thanks Scott.

Father’s Day Gift

So last week I hung out with three very cute cousins and we made Father Day gifts.

We painted ceramic mugs then put them in the oven to make the paint permanently stay on them. I think the kids had fun considering they are only 3, 6 and 8 yrs. At any rate I had fun doing it with them.

Hope the father’s like them.

Christmas Crafts

Been a while since I posted anything but here are three new thingsI made.

During the summer I was doing ceramic painting at Simply Creative in Milton and made many things. While I was there I made the following Christmas cookie plate and cookie jar for my mom. That way when she makes cooked with her nieces and nephews this holiday season she has somewhere special to put them.

Here is my Christmas wreath and it was so easy to make for under $15
• 12 small boxes from dollar store (2 for a $1) which I hot glued lids on.
• Put ribbing only on the top row
• Cut a wreath shape out of foam board and wrapped in ribbon
• Hot glued the boxes onto the wreath

Ceramic Milk Jug

Hi Everyone

Last November, Scott my fabulous roommate, and my best friend asked what I wanted for Christmas……….of course I said I wanted something homemade and sent him in the direction of Milton to Simply Creative where he could choose from making me jewelry via glass fusing or paint a ceramic figure.

We needed a milk jug so I decided he would paint one for us. I went with him to the store, but we sat back to back as he painted his little heart out.

I love it …………..what do you think????????????????
